Tech Lead

As a Tech Lead at 18 Pixels, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence, leading development teams, managing project deliveries, and acting as a trusted technology consultant for our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Technical Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of developers, QA engineers, and technical resources. - Review architecture, code quality, and development standards. - Provide technical guidance and resolve complex technical challenges. - Ensure adoption of best coding practices and scalable development methodologies. - Project Delivery & Team Management - Plan, allocate, and monitor tasks across the development team. - Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets. - Track project progress and proactively address risks and bottlenecks. - Maintain accountability for deliverables and team productivity. - Client Consulting & Stakeholder Management - Participate in client meetings, requirement gathering, and solution discussions. - Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Act as a technical consultant to clients by recommending suitable technologies and approaches. - Communicate project status, risks, and technical updates effectively. - Process & Quality Assurance - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Implement development processes, documentation standards, and deployment procedures. - Ensure system performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. - Drive continuous improvement within the engineering team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience. - Proven experience leading technical teams and managing project deliveries. - Strong knowledge of Web Development, Software Architecture, Database Design, APIs, Cloud Platforms, and Agile Methodologies. - Experience with Git and version control systems. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
