Performance Testing Engineer

As a Performance Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring system scalability, reliability, and performance across enterprise applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner - Performing load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across applications - Working with multiple protocols including HTTP/HTML, Web Services, Ajax TruClient, MQ Protocol, SAP, and Java-based applications - Analyzing performance test results and providing actionable insights and recommendations - Using monitoring tools to identify system bottlenecks at application, database, and infrastructure levels - Collaborating with development and DevOps teams for performance tuning and optimization - Supporting test debugging and performance engineering activities Qualifications required for this role: - Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner - Experience working with multiple performance testing protocols - Hands-on exposure to at least one monitoring tool, such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana - Solid understanding of performance test analysis and reporting Desirable skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Basic knowledge of AWS, Kafka, MQ - Ability to write basic database queries (SQL) - Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands - Understanding of performance engineering concepts in distributed systems This job requires 5-12 years of experience and is based in Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai.
