Application Developer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating closely with designers and other engineers to deliver high-quality features - Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use - Developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards - Mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of technical excellence - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability and ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards - Contributing to technical decision-making - Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software - Interfacing with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into formal technical requirements and application code - Working with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are successfully implemented - Providing Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components Your qualifications for this role should include: - Advanced proficiency in React.js, including hooks, Redux, state management, and component lifecycle - Strong experience with Node.js for backend development, API creation, and integration - Deep knowledge of TypeScript, including static typing, interfaces, and best practices - Solid understanding of modern software design patterns and best practices - Experience with version control systems such as Git - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus If you are experienced in React, Node.js, TypeScript, and have a passion for developing innovative web applications, this role could be a great fit for you.
