You will be working as an Application Developer_Java at the Mumbai location for the captive technology arm of a leading German-headquartered global insurance group. Your role will involve the following responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing applications using Core Java (1.8 and above version), SpringBoot (2.7 and above version), and Microservices architecture design. Your expertise in SOAP & RESTful webservices will be crucial in delivering seamless IT solutions to support the company's extensive global operations. Additionally, you will need to prioritize business impact and urgency, while also demonstrating the ability to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop applications using Core Java, SpringBoot, and Microservices architecture design - Utilize SOAP & RESTful webservices for delivering IT solutions - Prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency - Quickly adapt and learn new technologies and methodologies Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Core Java (1.8 and above version) and SpringBoot (2.7 and above version) - Experience with Microservices architecture design - Familiarity with tools such as STS/IntelliJ, Maven, SOAP UI, and GitHub - Knowledge of XML and RDBMS - Understanding of Jenkins, Kibana, Docker, JFrog/Nexus repos, and AWS DevOps - Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Service Now - Basic knowledge of agile pattern and insurance business Please note: The company has a substantial international footprint with operations in more than 50 countries and a workforce exceeding 50,000 professionals.
