About the role
Interview process : 2 rounds, 2nd round interview will be in-person
Role: AWS Cloud Engineer
Location : Hybrid, one day a week onsite in Reston, VA. Some occasional on-site meetings will also be announced early at either the Reston, VA, or the DC location.
Duration : 12-month contract

Summary : CareFirst is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the automated provisioning of AWS cloud infrastructure for an EKS workload migration and building of new tech stacks on AWS.
10+ years overall IT experience
5+ years of experience in automated infrastructure provisioning in AWS cloud
3+ years of experience with AWS EKS and any other AWS services (EC2, S3, MongoDB, Sagemaker, Bedrock, Eventbridge, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
Any active AWS certification
Experience using Terraform to provision AWS cloud resources
Experience working within healthcare or the financial industry
Python coding experience
