About the role
Overview
Support DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform initiatives from an infrastructure and platform engineering perspective
Work closely with vendor teams responsible for installing and managing the DAM platform
Provide guidance on AWS best practices, platform architecture, scalability, and operational support
This is primarily a cloud/platform engineering and DevOps-focused role, not a software development role
Key Responsibilities
Support deployment, configuration, and management of AWS-based DAM platforms
Partner with vendor teams and internal Apple stakeholders to ensure successful platform implementation
Provide expertise on AWS infrastructure, security, scalability, and operational best practices
Assist with troubleshooting, platform optimization, and environment stability
Support streaming, messaging, caching, search, and database technologies within the DAM ecosystem
Work with technologies such as Kafka, Elastic Search/Solr, media streaming solutions, and CI/CD pipelines
Help evaluate platform architecture decisions and operational processes
Collaborate with business teams, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams
Participate in platform support, infrastructure improvements, and operational readiness activities
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
Experience supporting enterprise platforms in a DevOps or cloud systems engineering capacity
Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar platforms
Experience with search technologies such as ElasticSearch or Solr
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Understanding of scalable, secure, and highly available platform architectures
Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting DAM (Digital Asset Management) platforms

Exposure to media delivery, media streaming, or content platforms

Prior experience working in large enterprise environments

Apple experience is highly preferred

Basic Java knowledge is a nice-to-have, but not required

Experience working with vendor-managed platforms
