Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• • 5 + years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and design with core technical skills

• • Must be certified as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent

• • 8+ years of experience into Cloud Administration

• • Level 4 (5+ years) cloud engineering experience

• • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

• • AWS and GCP Architect Certifications are also preferred

Responsibilities

• This person will have experience in and be responsible for the following:

• • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud architecture solutions primarily using Azure.

• • Develop and execute a comprehensive Azure cloud strategy that supports Clorox short-term and long-term objectives

• • Develop comprehensive cloud architecture strategies that encompass Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

• • Define and maintain Azure cloud architectural blueprints, ensuring best practices and cost optimization levers are enabled

• • Collaborate with Clorox Security to define and incorporate cloud security policies in cloud provisioning

• • Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and applications, identifying opportunities for cloud migration and optimization.

• • Design security measures and controls to ensure data protection and compliance with federal security standards.

• • Provide expert guidance to internal and client teams on cloud architecture decisions, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• • Develop cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, guidelines, and best practices for reference and knowledge sharing

• • Serve as the Technical SME and point of escalation for troubleshooting network and cloud infrastructure issues / Level 4 Engineering Requirements to Operations Team.

• • Evaluate new Azure services and technologies for potential adoption and deployment.

• • Lead the design and implementation of Azure cloud solutions across various business domains

• • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other cloud engineers and architects

• • Stay abreast of Azure cloud trends and innovations

• • Contribute to the development of cloud governance policies and standards

• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Azure cloud solutions

• • Oversee the implementation and deployment of Azure cloud solutions

• • Manage Azure cloud costs and optimize resource utilization

• • Implement Azure cloud security best practices and controls

• • Work closely with Ent. Data & Technology leadership, business stakeholders, and development teams

• • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
