Business Intelligence Developer

Onsite required for the initial 1-month probationary period

After probation, up to 50% remote may be available

Occasional extended hours (weekends or after hours) may be required by mutual agreement

5+ years in Oracle BI development including data warehousing, data modeling, complex SQL, ETL processes, OBIEE RPD, dashboards, and BI/XML Publisher.

Duration: 12 Months USC or GC only Location: Albany, NY (Must currently reside in Albany or daily drivable surrounding area)

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop data warehouse and business intelligence solutions

Perform data modeling , complex SQL development , and ETL processing

Develop and maintain OBIEE RPD models (physical, business, and presentation layers)

Create and enhance dashboards, scorecards, analyses, and reports

Develop BI reports using OBIEE BI/XML Publisher

Support data integration and analytics initiatives across Oracle and related systems

Participate in testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support activities

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of data warehouse development experience, including:

• Data modeling

• Complex SQL development

• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

• 5+ years of experience in database design and modeling for BI applications, including:

• Relational database structures

• Normal forms

• Star schema modeling

• 5+ years of experience with OBIEE RPD , including:

• Data modeling

• Object creation

• Join development in physical and business layers

• 5+ years of experience developing OBIEE Presentation Layer , including:

• Dashboards

• Scorecards

• Analyses

• Page layout and style customization

• 5+ years of experience developing reports using OBIEE BI/XML Publisher

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting and implementing Oracle Security , including:

• Users and roles

• Object and system privileges

• Application contexts

• Virtual Private Database (VPD) and policies

• Experience using Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) for complex ETL development

• Experience with Unix/Linux Korn shell scripting , preferably on IBM AIX or RHEL

• Experience performing ETL development using Attunity Compose
