About the role
Title: Tech Support Developer / Cloud Administrator
Location: Remote (EST)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
New role – looking for a Cloud Administrator that can answer tickets, but also knows Azure Update Management (AUM) and AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for patching and automation.
Skilled in writing and maintaining automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred) for patching, monitoring, and backup tasks.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications

Resolve incidents/tickets in a timely manner assigned by RTX Cloud Services team or routed via ticketing system

Utilizing Azure Portal and orchestration for infrastructure support operations

Windows and Linux VM Operating System administration
-
PowerShell and other scripting
-
Support cloud automation systems and tools
-
Network management/support
-
Monitor and diagnose cloud infrastructure

Active Directory maintenance
-
Assist in architecting and developing cloud services and automation

Extend support to other cloud-related services as required. May include full stack of Azure services, AWS, on-premise

private cloud, etc.

Participate in an on-call rotation for Severity 1 and 2 incident

Must Haves:
-
1.Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

2.Proficient in using Azure Update Management (AUM) and AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for patching and automation.

3.Deep understanding of operating systems, with strong expertise in both Linux and Windows environments.

4.Solid experience in troubleshooting patching issues across multi-cloud environments.

5.Skilled in writing and maintaining automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred) for patching, monitoring, and backup tasks.

6.Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions in both Azure and AWS.

7.Ability to analyze patching logs, identify root causes, and remediate failures in a timely manner.
