About the role
CLOUD DBA
The ideal candidate will have hands-on production support experience working with Spanner/MongoDB/Postgres/MySQL/Cassandra in complex enterprise environments. This role involves database design, operational management, performance tuning, and system-level support for high-availability, mission-critical applications.
Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in either Scottsdale, AZ or Dallas, TX (Richardson)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension

GCP experience #1
MySQL/PostgreSQL
Mongo/Cassandra
Must Haves:
Cloud DBA with 7+ years' experience working as a GCP-Spanner, MongoDB, Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra Database Administrator, including experience at the design, operational, and system levels.
Experience with database administration including:
Experience with database administration including Performance tuning.
Design and implementation of Disaster Recovery to meet defined business objectives.
Implementation and support of high availability features including Clustering and Replication
Experience tuning complex database systems for production systems at the application, database, and system levels.
Qualification:
Multiple databases - Spanner/MongoDB/Postgres/MySQL/Cassandra
production support environment experience - 24x7, 365 day, on call support
hybrid onsite – Scottsdale or Richardson
