Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite – Monday to Friday)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Rate:- $45-50. W2 given to candidate

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support, secure, and maintain a large-scale enterprise network environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with firewall administration, network security technologies, incident response, and enterprise infrastructure support in production environments.

Network Security, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, Routing & Switching, VLANs, Network Segmentation, VPN (IPsec/SSL), IDS/IPS, Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Packet Analysis, Wireshark, Network Troubleshooting, Enterprise Security Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity Operations.

Required Skills

5+ years of enterprise Network Security Engineering experience

Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Cisco Firewalls (Required)

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, Routing & Switching

Experience with VLANs, Network Segmentation, and Access Controls

Expertise in VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN)

Experience with IDS/IPS , threat detection, and prevention technologies

Security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability remediation experience

Strong network troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark

Experience supporting enterprise security infrastructure in production environments

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall environments (Palo Alto/Cisco)

Monitor network security infrastructure and respond to security incidents

Implement and maintain VPN, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation solutions

Analyze network traffic, troubleshoot connectivity and security issues, and perform packet analysis

Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to ensure secure network operations

Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance initiatives

Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and operational procedures

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
