Cyber Defense Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Cyber Defense Engineer with experience in Network Detection & Response tools—preferably Fidelis NDR—and a strong interest in Cyber Threat Intelligence. This role requires proactive ownership of security issues, driving them to resolution rather than simply performing assigned tasks. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the Cyber Defense Operations (CDO) domain and potentially participate in investigations of security incidents involving sensitive information.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or related fields.

• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP protocols.

• Possess at least one entry-level, vendor-neutral information security certification (e.g., GICF, GSEC, CISA, CEH) or equivalent experience.

• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Demonstrated passion for learning emerging technologies and expanding skill sets.

• Certification/Licenses

• Must have: At least one entry-level vendor-neutral certification in the Information Security arena (GICF, GSEC, CISA, CEH, etc.) or equivalent experience
