Description:

Primary focus migrating Cloudera data sets into AWS infrastructure.

• Tech Stack:::: AWS Aurora Postgres is top choice, but will consider any similar RDMS platform, (but Postgres is top choice and will interview them first), S3, Redshift, Cloudera. If no cloudera, must have some sort of Big Data exp, but cloudera is must.

• Seeking a Data Architect - not looking for solution architects or ETL developers, looking for data architects who can look at big data infrastructure and support the architecture efforts to migrate to AWS ecosystem. Must be well versed in data architecture. ETL knowledge is good but this is not a developer role. Focus is looking at storage and what is the best way to move data onto the new ecosystem.

• Must have a healthcare insurance background. At least 1 year. Will be open to non-healthcare candidates if we can-t find anyone in a few weeks.

• Data modeling experience is required, would be open to very very senior level Data Modeler-s if we can-t source an architect.

• ERWIN is top choice but will accept similar modeling tools

• PROJECT:::: Enterprise wide move from Cloudera to AWS/RedShift. This is a healthcare data specific team, they do not want to rebuild the data pipelines, they are looking to leverage Postgres to get the data into RedShift. Exposing data from Postgres and moving to RedShift is the project.

• Will work with data stewards from each team to understand how the data is stored, then come up with the model using ERWIN. Data modeling is required.
