*Must have strong data engineering skills. (SQL, data analysis, ETL, etc)

*ETL tool will be data factory but any is OK

*Azure cloud technology

**** must have experience architecting, modeling, building and putting into production a data warehouse from POC to finish. Tools and tech are less important than overall experience.****

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Crosby finance transformation initiative. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support the transformation of our finance operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data solutions and drive innovation in our data practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.

Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Implement and optimize data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

Work with newer technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric to build scalable and robust data solutions.

Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data availability and reliability.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and incorporate them into our data strategy.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience in data modeling and designing efficient data structures.

Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.

Experience with SQL and other database technologies.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Knowledge of finance domain and related data requirements.
