Data Engineer (Snowflake).

Hybrid/Columbia, MD

3 rounds. 2 video. 1 onsite. 15 min video with manager, then 30-60 tech interview on video, then final F2F in Columbia MD

• This is a hybrid position. Mostly remote, but wants flexibility for this person to come onsite from time to time for workshop sessions, team planning, etc. Figure 1-2x per month, maybe more, maybe less. Columbia MD office. Must be DMV (preferred), WV, OR PA, so the candidate can convert to FTE status and come onsite

• Interview process: 3 rounds (2 video, 1 F2F) - 15 min quick interview with Director, then 30-min tech interview with the team, then final round will be a F2F in Columbia, MD

• They build claims engines for claims adjudications

• Seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer. Snowflake DB SME user, focused Data Engineer is the target. Transactions happen in Oracle, but the data flows thru Snowflake

• Strong Snowflake, JSON skills with a data background (models) - this role is more operational/system engineer versus developing (some code writing but not the focus)

• 3-5 years in Data Engineering/dimensional models/different models in data structures

• Healthcare Insurance background is highly highly preferred, will review non-healthcare but healthcare candidates gets first pref.

• 8 Saturdays per year for releases.

• CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins - they build changes in Jenkins for deployments - they automate / integrate the changes from snowflake into jenkins
