Duties

Lead and execute data science projects, delivering innovative technical solutions that drive improved business outcomes

Design, develop, and validate machine learning and statistical models to ensure optimal performance and scalability

Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in both real-time and batch processing environments, and monitor model performance over time

Support strategic discussions with key business stakeholders by providing data-driven insights and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization

Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business

Serve as a subject matter expert in machine learning and predictive modeling, providing guidance and expertise across projects

Stay current with emerging trends by actively researching new theories, methodologies, and technologies in data science and AI

Desired Skills/Experience:

Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and automation

Hands-on experience with database technologies, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch

Familiarity with modern transformer architectures, such as Small Language Models, Large Language Models, Vision-Language Models, and Embedding Models

Expertise in API development and container technology

Experience with cloud platform and services such as: BigQuery, google cloud storage, CloudSQL andVectorSearch

Working knowledge of software development tools and practices such as: Git, branching model, agile development, Test-driven-development
