Database Developer

Database Developer Location: Lenexa, KS (On-site) Type: Contract (C2C Approved) Interview: On-site required Work Authorization: USC / GC only | Local candidates only

7+ years Database Development, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, database schema management, job monitoring/troubleshooting, and SQL Server DBA (performance tuning, patching, upgrades).

Job Description: We are seeking a Database Developer with strong SQL Server and SSIS expertise to support and enhance enterprise data systems. The role includes development, maintenance, monitoring of data jobs, and hands-on DBA responsibilities for both Data Warehouse and OLTP environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SSIS packages and SQL stored procedures

• Manage and modify database schemas (SQL Server DW & Azure Data Marts)

• Monitor overnight batch jobs and resolve failures

• Perform SQL Server DBA activities: performance tuning, patching, upgrades

• Support Data Warehouse and OLTP databases

• Optional: Assist with SSRS reports and Power BI development

• Required Skills:

• 7+ years Database Developer experience

• Strong Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL

• SSIS development

• Database schema management

• Job monitoring & troubleshooting

• SQL Server DBA (performance, patching, upgrades)

• Preferred:
