About the role
DevOps Engineer (AWS + Security | HIPAA Environment)
I'm looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience and a solid understanding of security best practices in HIPAA-regulated environments.
This role is perfect for someone who can:
Provision secure, fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, IAM, etc.)
Use Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Ensure system uptime and verify secure, compliant backups
Perform security audits and work directly with auditors
Respond to incidents and keep everything running smoothly
Communicate well across tech and compliance teams
Bonus points if you have experience with encryption, monitoring tools like CloudWatch, and AWS security services like GuardDuty or Security Hub.
Remote in US - Must overlap at least 4 hours with Pacific Time Zone
HIPAA compliance experience is a must
