Title: Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Sterling Heights, MI and potential Cedar Rapids, IA for short period of time (100% ONSITE)

Duration: 6 - 12 Month with extension

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE OR INTERIM CLEARANCE

Secure Boot Design and Implementation: Develop a design featuring bootloader selection, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) management, key management, hard drive encryption, T1H configuration, and Pre-boot Execution Environment (PXE) boot support.

C/C++ - Safety critical work

Board Support Package (BSP) Configuration: Integrate BSP layers with selected hardware, incorporating secure boot elements and leveraging pre-configured solutions from prior projects.

Hypervisor Configuration: Establish hypervisor options for safety-critical environments.

RTOS Configuration: Configure RTOS selections to support mixed input/output (I/O) and power management on unified hardware, and handling of multiple high-bandwidth streams. VxWorks – Helix hypervisor

Container Orchestration Configuration: Implement strategies using tools such as Kubernetes for orchestration, incorporating load balancing, hot swap capabilities, self-healing mechanisms, and contingency planning for compute exhaustion.

IL5 Required Artifacts and Updates: Generate artifacts for product deployment to Impact Level 5 (IL5) environments, incorporating Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) requirements, post-quantum encryption, and zero-trust pillars.

Secure Automotive experience

I/O Data Bus(es) to DDS Integration Support: Facilitate integration of I/O data buses with DDS middleware, maintaining hardware agnosticism and compatibility with the relevant data model.

Middleware Updates and Configuration: Update middleware, including application programming interfaces (APIs) for physical buses to support networking and data fusion.

Data Model to Code Configuration: Configure code based on the relevant data model, utilizing Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE)-like abstraction points for platform-independent and platform- specific layers.
