ERP Reporting Specialist | Remote

Position Summary:

The ERP Reporting Specialist with Business Intelligence (BI) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions to support decision-making processes within the organization. This role combines expertise in ERP systems, data analysis, and BI tools to create insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy, and drive improvements in reporting capabilities. We are preparing for a go live for Frontier and need some reporting help with that and cabinet vision.

· Upgraded Cabinet Vision from version 8 to version 22 to be able to interface with Frontier.

· The reports were in crystal reports, but now are SQL based.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Reporting and Data Analysis:

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries within the ERP system to meet business requirements.

Extract, transform, and analyze data from ERP systems to deliver actionable insights.

Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies, report errors, and system issues.

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of ERP data by performing regular audits and reconciliations.

Business Intelligence Development:

Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations to present data trends, KPIs, and operational metrics.

Automate data integration workflows between the ERP system and BI platforms to streamline reporting processes.

Continuously enhance BI solutions to support evolving business needs and new ERP functionalities.

Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:

Work with business units, including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations, to gather and document reporting requirements.

Translate business needs into technical specifications for ERP and BI reporting solutions.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, system integration, and security compliance.

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users on ERP reporting tools and BI platforms.

Develop user guides, documentation, and training materials to promote self-service reporting capabilities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting-related queries and technical assistance.

Continuous Improvement:

Monitor and optimize the performance of reporting solutions, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, tools, and data management practices.

Stay current with ERP system updates, BI tool advancements, and industry trends to recommend new solutions.

Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Equivalent work experience may be considered.

• Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in ERP reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite).

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

Skills and Competencies

• Expertise in creating complex reports, queries, and dashboards.

• MUST HAVE experience with Cabinet Vision, Frontier, and SQL reporting .

• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Certifications (preferred):

• Certification in BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist).

• ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Specialist, Oracle ERP Cloud Certification).

• Relevant data analysis certifications (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional - CBIP).
