About the role
Google Cloud Architect
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust GCP cloud environments.
Collaborate with development teams to architect and deploy cloud-native applications.
Provide technical leadership in cloud migration, modernization, optimization, and ongoing management.
Lead in early discussion and analysis of GCP concepts, and assist in creating proof-of-concepts with the full backing of the relevant teams
Perform a thorough technical discovery, identifying problem areas, technical and business requirements, and as-is and future state scenarios
Evaluate potential solutions using both technical and commercial criteria that support the established cost and service requirements
Required Skills And Experience
Proven track record of setting up and managing GCP environments.
Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud service models.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
