About the role
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health informatics, complex data analysis, and workforce modeling, with a proven track record of driving impactful change within healthcare organizations. You will play a critical role in delivering insights that inform decision-making and foster improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead analytical modeling and complex data analysis projects across the HLS landscape (including international healthcare)
• Develop and implement demand, capacity, and performance models to optimize patient flow, manage waiting lists, and inform national pricing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, including clinical and service leads, to understand and address analytics-driven challenges.
• Facilitate large-scale workshops and conduct comprehensive interviews to gather input from various stakeholders for the purpose of data collection and analysis.
• Mentor and coach clients and junior team members to enhance their analytical capabilities and foster a culture of sustainable change.
• Design and execute engagement projects, such as workforce modeling for certain pathways and other healthcare services with a focus on delivering clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Present key findings and insights tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and impact of communication.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in data science, with a focus on healthcare analytics and business intelligence.

• Strong analytical skills with expertise in complex data analysis, demand, capacity, and performance modeling.

• Experience in health informatics

• Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Passion for delivering sustainable results and making a real difference in healthcare outcomes.

• A strong work ethic and values-driven approach to projects that offer lasting value and impact.

• Prior experience working on high-profile projects within the HLS, including theater (OR) capacity management and COVID-19 impact assessments.

• Experience leading analytical and modeling efforts for cancer pathways and workforce needs, ideally in collaboration with cancer alliances or similar organizations.'

• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful transformation programs across a variety of healthcare systems and providers

• Analysis and problem solving – strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and able to translate personal experience and knowledge into approaches and solutions to client problems

• Project management – able to work within formal project and change management disciplines, excellent attention to detail to ensure the high quality of workstream outputs

• Communication - aptitude to engage and influence client staff while ensuring clarity and impact, in both verbal and written communication

Years of experience:
-
5-10 years operational management experience within the health service and/or management consultancy within the healthcare sector
