Mid Infrastructure / Platform Engineer (AWS / DevOps)

We are seeking a Mid-Level Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to help build and support a new enterprise AI asset registry platform focused on governance, discoverability, and compliance of AI tools and services across the organization.

This engineer will focus heavily on AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, platform reliability, and observability while partnering closely with a small development team building AI registry integrations and metadata services.

Responsibilities

• Build and support AWS cloud infrastructure

• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational reliability practices

• Support environment promotion, disaster recovery, and platform scalability

• Collaborate closely with developers on integrations and deployment workflows

• Required Experience

• Strong AWS experience

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)

• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• Cloud monitoring and observability tooling

• Experience with IAM, networking, security groups, and cloud security fundamentals

• Nice to Have

• Docker / containerization

• ECS, Fargate, or EKS exposure

• Dynatrace or similar observability tools

• Amazon OpenSearch Service experience

• Experience in fast-moving or ambiguous engineering environments

• Additional Details

• 6–12 month contract with potential extension/conversion

• Small collaborative team environment

• Preferred hybrid schedule in Des Moines

• Interview process is typically one 1-hour interview with minimal coding assessment
