Job Title: Lead IT Architect – Data Center & Network
Location: Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Schedule: Hybrid (First 90 days onsite M–F)
Duration : 12 Months
Possibility to extend Overview The Enterprise Data Center and Network organization designs, implements, and operates a global infrastructure supporting large-scale, distributed environments across hundreds of locations worldwide.

The Lead IT Architect within the Connectivity team plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network services across branch sites. Key
Responsibilities

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on data center and network infrastructure aligned to standardized architecture

Design, build, and operate modern enterprise networks, including transformation of legacy environments using SDN, NFV, automation, and orchestration

Architect and deploy cloud networking solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP (VNets/VPCs, subnets, routing, peering)

Implement and manage hybrid connectivity solutions (Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, Google Cloud Interconnect)

Partner cross-functionally to define scalable and standardized network architectures

Monitor and manage infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and minimize disruptions
Qualifications
-
8+ years of IT infrastructure experience focused on data center networking and cloud architecture

4+ years of hands-on experience with data center switching, routing, and cloud networking

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions

Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) (Preferred)

Strong background in automation and orchestration tools (Preferred)

Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) (Preferred)

Experience supporting large-scale, distributed infrastructure environments (Preferred)
