Telecom Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, creation of engineering docs, layer 1 testing, configuration, deployment, migration, and post-migration testing/troubleshooting in pre-production

• Remote probing configuration and testing across 52 SAP sites (4G/5G - VoLTE, VoNR, LTE, etc.)

• Next-Gen packet broker migration (Extreme - Keysight)

• SLX rebalancing config deployment to address SLX packet limit issues (22 sites)

• Virtual packet broker deployments in WebScale 1.5 + expansion rollouts

• Work with HQ/vendors to test software/enhancements (health monitoring, advanced filtering)

• Deploy and validate packet broker configurations

• Required Skills

Qualifications

• Physical packet broker: architecture, configurations; Extreme and Keysight solutions

• Virtual packet broker: architecture, configurations; Gigamon solutions

• VCP WebScale and OpenStack deployments (Core - NEC, Edge - SAP)

• End-to-end visibility workflows for 4G/5G interfaces

• Traffic/KPI validation (NG1 - NetScout)

• Remote probing architecture and configurations

• Knowledge of 4G/5G call flows
