Contract – C2C

Strong experience in large-scale data center networking, MPLS, VxLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, Cisco IOS/NXOS, Arista EOS, SDWAN, network automation using Python/Ansible/Netmiko, cloud peering, network security protocols, VMware integration, and troubleshooting within enterprise or government environments requiring Public Trust eligibility.

This particular role requires candidates be able to hold a public trust clearance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior-level Network Hosting and Fabric Services Engineer with strong expertise in data center networking, network security, automation, and fabric technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-scale enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions across complex environments.

This role requires hands-on experience with data center fabrics, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, automation scripting, routing protocols, SDWAN technologies, and cloud/network integration. The candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments while supporting mission-critical infrastructure and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale data center network architectures using Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies

Configure and support MPLS, VxLAN, EVPN, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSEC, DMVPN, SSL/TLS, and related protocols

Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across multiple OSI layers

Develop network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Netmiko, APIs, YAML, and JSON

Support deployment of data center fabrics and multi-tenant network environments

Manage internet peering, DDOS mitigation, public IP infrastructure, and network security initiatives

Support SDWAN, NFV, and cloud peering integration projects

Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable network solutions

Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and operational procedures

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enterprise network architecture

Required Skills

Strong experience with large-scale data center networking and fabric solutions

Expertise in MPLS, VxLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and routing policies

Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, NXOS, and Arista EOS environments

Strong network automation experience using Python, Ansible, Netmiko, APIs, YAML, and JSON

Experience with SDWAN, NFV, and cloud networking/peering solutions

Knowledge of IPSEC, SSL/TLS, RPKI, PCI/DSS, and network security best practices

Experience supporting VMware integrations including VMotion and HCX

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise or large-scale data center networks

• Strong understanding of network security, automation, and infrastructure modernization

• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced enterprise environment

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government clearance eligibility requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain U.S. Government security clearances including 6C or C2 clearances
