Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), Cisco firewall technologies, and enterprise-scale network infrastructure design. Experience with migration from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, install, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and related equipment

Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, ACLs, and object groups

Lead migration efforts from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD)

Configure and support routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP (MUST HAVE)

Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot outages and performance issues

Perform firmware and software upgrades and routine network maintenance

Provide remote and onsite technical support to internal teams and business users

Test, deploy, and support new network hardware, software, and applications

Develop detailed engineering design documentation for integrating new technologies

Collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams

Develop strategic roadmaps for infrastructure upgrades and enhancements

Participate in audits, quality reviews, and compliance initiatives

Follow structured change management processes with awareness of downtime impact in industrial environments

Perform additional duties as required

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of Network Engineering experience in large enterprise or industrial environments

Strong expertise in Routing protocols: BGP and EIGRP (Mandatory)

Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls

Proven experience migrating from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense.

Experience implementing and managing new network deployments and firewall migrations

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related IT/OT discipline

Active Cisco CCNP certification preferred

Other Cisco certifications are a strong plus

CCIE certifications is plus.

Siemens CPIN-level equivalent certification is acceptable
