Network Engineer - Wireless CCIE

Role : Network Engineer - Wireless CCIE - Local

Location : Warren, MI

Duration : 18 Months

Wireless Engineer to support wireless infrastructure "Get Healthy" activities on an 18-month contract. This role is 5 days per week onsite in Warren, MI, with deployment driven by site prioritization and demand.

Responsibilities

• Wireless infrastructure remediation, refresh, and post-refresh validation.

• Access point configuration, upgrades, and performance/coverage troubleshooting.

• Site readiness support and documentation of all configuration changes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise wireless networking experience.

• Hands-on expertise in AP configuration, deployment, and remediation.

• Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and RF troubleshooting.

• CCIE Wireless required; CCNP Enterprise Wireless or Aruba ACWA/ACCP also accepted.

• Experience with site survey methodology and wireless validation testing.

• Must be available 5 days per week onsite in Warren, MI for the contract duration. Tools and Technologies:

• Wireless platforms: Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center), Cisco WLC, Aruba Central/AOS.

• Access points: Cisco Catalyst/Aironet, Aruba (HPE), Juniper Mist.

• Survey/analysis: Ekahau Site Survey, NetAlly AirCheck G3.

• NMS and ITSM: SolarWinds, PRTG, ServiceNow.
