Network Security Engineer

Must have:
-
3-5+ years of experience in network security engineering, focusing on F5 and Palo Alto

Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP modules (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM)

Expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PA-Series, VM-Series, Prisma Access, etc.)
-
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, BGP, VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS)
-
Experience with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)

Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network security tasks is a plus
-
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Zero Trust architectures is desirable

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:

The Network Security Engineer will design, implement, and manage F5 load balancers (BIG-IP, LTM, GTM, APM, ASM) to optimize application delivery and security

Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls (NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect, IPS, URL Filtering, WildFire, etc.) for robust perimeter security

Develop and enforce network security policies, including access control, segmentation, and threat mitigation

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network security performance using SIEM and logging tools

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security gaps
-
Implement and manage SSL/TLS encryption, VPNs, and authentication protocols
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, DevOps, Security, Compliance) to align security strategies with business goals

The Network Security Engineer will stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices to enhance network security posture

Assist in incident response and forensic investigations related to security breaches
