About the role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on IT professional with deep expertise in the Okta Identity Management Platform, including Okta Preview. The ideal candidate will assess and remediate security gaps, configure the Okta environment, and lead the setup of a robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT) instance to support secure and scalable identity and access management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review current Okta and Okta Preview configurations for security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
Identify and resolve security gaps across identity and access workflows.
Implement best practices for Okta configuration and policy management.
Set up and configure the UAT environment, ensuring it mirrors production standards.
Collaborate with internal IT and security teams to document findings and recommend improvements.
Support ongoing Okta platform enhancements and testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven hands-on experience with Okta administration and security.
Strong familiarity with Okta Preview environment and its use for pre-prod validation.
Experience with identity governance, authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, etc.), and access management.
Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Okta settings across environments.
Strong understanding of UAT lifecycle and environment setup in enterprise IT.
