Oracle DBA

Job Details:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and

deployment.

• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

• Oracle DBA Oracle Database Administration Oracle Enterprise

• Technical expertise in Database 12 - 19C on Linux/Solaris/AIX server.

• Maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures

• Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.

• Cloning Oracle databases from production environments to non-prod environments.

• Should possess good communication skills

Qualifications

• • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with experience in Oracle 11g, 12c, and/or 19c

• (SE & EE)

• • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN, and database performance tuning.

• • Proficiency in Linux ksh scripting

• • Strong understanding of database architecture, high availability, and disaster recovery.

• • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.

• • Knowledge of database security best practices.

• • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• • Oracle Certified Master (OCM) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.

• • Hands-on experience with replication features such as rsync, GoldenGate, or Dbvisit

• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• • Impeccable attention to detail.

• • Work effectively in a team environment.

• • Strong planning, time management, and excellent organizational skills to meet

• deadlines.

• • Ability to establish good working relationships with clients.
