About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory compliance across LNG facilities
Ensure adherence to all Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements
Interpret and apply complex regulatory frameworks and engineering standards
Review and analyze engineering documentation including:
P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams)
C&Es (Cause & Effect Diagrams)
One-Line Diagrams
Isometric and Civil/Structural Drawings
Support regulatory audits, compliance reviews, and inspections
Provide technical guidance on codes, standards, and industry best practices
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to ensure alignment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR 10+ years of relevant LNG experience
Minimum 10+ years of combined experience in:
LNG facility engineering
Design, commissioning, or operations
Regulatory compliance
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
In-depth knowledge of LNG regulations, including:

33 CFR 127
NFPA 59A
ASME B31.3
Broad understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices
Candidate Requirements:
Must be willing to relocate to Houston, TX (100% onsite role)
Work authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, TN-1, or H1B (I-140 approved)
Strong technical expertise with hands-on LNG experience preferred

Background primarily in consulting or consulting firms
Experience as business owner, Director, or VP-level roles
Seeking or requiring people management responsibilities
