About the role
Reporting/Data Tech Lead (PowerBI/Tableau)
Location: Must be local to Hartford and be able to go into the office 3 days a week
Must be GC/US Citizen
3- Months CTH (Contract to hire likely extension)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate with hands on tech experience and tech lead experience. Will be leading at least 3 junior data resources Please make sure the resume indicates how many people they led - I often get resumes that say Tech Lead for a title BUT there is no indication of Tech Lead duties within the resume. Please make sure the Tech Lead duties are listed in each project. THIS IS A TRUE TECH LEAD ROLE
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 10 + years' experience overall.
3+ years in Reporting and Data analytics
Proficiency in data analysis tools, reporting and visualization software
Must have extensive experience with Power BI, Tableau
Experience with data management practices, including data cleaning and transformation. (This is a critical must have.)
Must have s trong knowledge of SQL for data querying.
Must have demonstrated experience l eading a team of analysts, ensuring data accuracy, and translating business needs into actionable insights through data-driven reports and dashboards.
Must have hands-on experience d eveloping and implementing a comprehensive reporting framework that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
Must show experience e valuating and selecting appropriate reporting and analytics tools, ensuring their effective integration and utilization by the team.

Roles & Responsibilities
Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand business requirements.
Examine data to find significant customer insights and potential uses for the information
Lead a small team of data analysts, and collaborating with product and technology teams to align reporting needs with strategic objectives
Translating business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and data analysis
