SAC Budgeting System Administrator

Responsibilities

• An SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) budgeting system administrator plays a critical role in leading and maintaining the SAC platform specifically for budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities. Their responsibilities span a wide range of tasks, ensuring the system functions efficiently and securely, and supports effective financial decision- making.

• Key Responsibilities:

• System Configuration and Management:

• Configuring SAC system settings for financial planning and budgeting, including setting up planning models, structures, and business process flows.

• Handling and maintaining data sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability for planning and reporting.

• Overseeing the setup and configuration of relevant SAP finance modules and interfaces with other systems used in the finance function.

• Support and Troubleshooting:

• Providing technical support and tackle assistance to end-users regarding SAC budgeting features and functionalities.

• Resolving system defects and issues related to the budgeting process in collaboration with IT or technology teams.

• Maintenance and Optimization:

• Performing regular system maintenance activities to ensure system stability and performance.

• Seeing opportunities to streamline finance processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness within SAC.

• Leading all aspects of the deployment of system changes and improvements related to finance and budgeting functionalities.

• Training and Documentation:

• Providing training and crafting training documentation for finance users to effectively use SAC budgeting features.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes within SAC.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborating with finance users and IT teams to capture requirements, design solutions, and implement new features within SAC budgeting.

• Working with stakeholders to optimize planning models for accuracy and scalability.

• Facilitating collaboration among teams for efficient budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , particularly in planning, budgeting, and forecasting modules .

• Familiarity with relevant SAP finance modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance , BPC , or similar).

• Experience configuring SAC planning models, business process flows, and data integrations.

• Proficiency with data management, ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy in financial systems.

• Understanding of integration between SAC and other enterprise systems.
