Project Description
The purpose of this project is to provide comprehensive support for the operational support of Akamai WAAP solution. The tool is intended to enhance the security posture of Costco by effectively, analyzing, and mitigating security threats attempting to access internet facing services.
Scope :
Conduct an in-depth assessment of Costco's current Akamai WAAP implementation to identify gaps and determine the optimal deployment strategy.
Review current operational processes to identify gaps and create the necessary processes for installing, configurating, and integrating Akamai WAAP security configuration within the existing security architecture.
Configure Akamai WAAP according to the specifications outlined in the deployment plan.
Ensure seamless integration with existing security systems and network components
Customize Akamai WAAP to align with Costco's security requirements and policies.
Optimize performance and tune settings to maximize effectiveness while minimizing false positives and negatives.
Transfer knowledge regarding best practices for leveraging the tool to enhance security operations.
Provide continuous support for Akamai WAAP, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and rule updates.
Conduct reviews and assessment to ensure the tool remains aligned with evolving security threats and organizational needs
