Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage security systems, tools, and processes to protect company assets.

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.

Monitor and analyze network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.

Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Work closely with IT teams to secure networks, applications, and data across cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Collaborate with other departments to conduct security awareness training and promote a culture of security within the organization.

Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends and recommend improvements to mitigate evolving risks.

Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the protection of data and systems in case of a security breach.

Participate in the design and implementation of secure system architectures and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong understanding of network security, threat analysis, and risk management.

• Experience with security monitoring tools, vulnerability scanning software, and penetration testing methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and network protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
