Title: Senior Database and Reporting Analyst

Rate : 65.25/hr C2C
Experience Required: Minimum 8 years
The Senior Database and Reporting Analyst will provide advanced analysis and leadership in supporting, improving, and enhancing the database and reporting frameworks for a large-scale project. This role involves developing and optimizing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, integrating databases with Java applications, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reports that serve over 1,200 school districts.
The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders, adhering to a defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, and contributing to the success of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, and support Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
Integrate Oracle databases with Java applications to support critical systems.
Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure system reliability.
Develop and enhance Jasper Reports to meet project-specific requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs for Core and PEIMS (Public Education Information Management System) projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation for all assigned projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple agencies to ensure report accuracy and efficacy.
Participate in Agile development processes for timely delivery of software updates and releases.

Required Qualifications
8 years : Proficiency in designing, coding, and supporting Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
8 years : Experience in integrating databases with Java applications.
8 years : Expertise in unit testing to validate software functionality and performance.
8 years : Experience working in Agile development environments.
