Senior IT Systems Administrator

Job Description

• Provide hands-on IT support across two nearby company locations (Buford and Suwanee, GA).

• Administer and maintain Ubiquiti (UniFi) network infrastructure, including site-to-site VPNs.

• Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and access issues.

• Support and maintain a mixed Microsoft Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, SharePoint) and Linux/Docker environment.

• Assist with migration projects, such as moving SharePoint to Azure/SharePoint Online.

• Deliver responsive desktop and end-user support, including resolving hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues (primarily Windows; some Mac).

• Manage and document network topology and infrastructure changes.

• Perform system maintenance, user provisioning, permissions management, and issue troubleshooting.

• Contribute to infrastructure improvements, cloud initiatives, and ensure system security and stability.

• Provide onsite support, traveling between the two locations as needed.

• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of issues from start to resolution.

• Engage in a contract role (6–12 months).
