About the role
Senior Telecom / UCaaS Engineer
On-site (New Jersey or Boston – 4 days/week) 12+ Months Contract (Extension possible) Interview Process: 2 Rounds (1st Remote, 2nd On-site)

Senior Telecom/UCaaS Engineer with expertise in Avaya, SIP/PSTN, IVR/call flows, CCaaS (Five9/NICE/Verint), UCaaS (Teams/Zoom Phone), SIP trunking, networking (QoS/VLAN), troubleshooting tools (Wireshark/SolarWinds), and cloud voice migrations.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Telecom, Voice Engineering, or UC/CC platforms
Strong experience with Avaya (Communication Manager, Aura, CMS)
Hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms (Five9, NICE, Verint, etc.)
Experience with UCaaS platforms (Microsoft Teams Phone, Zoom Phone)
Strong understanding of SIP, PSTN, IVR, and call routing
Experience with SIP trunking, number porting, and carrier management
Networking fundamentals (QoS, VLANs, RTP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud migration (on-prem → UCaaS/CCaaS)
