This position reports to Director of Data Engineering and the Chief Data Officer

Architecture experience building data warehouses.

Strong Azure Data Factory experience

Exciting position, as this team hasn't built a warehouse, but have a lot of marts. Leading warehouse development initiative. Bringing new ideas in. Looking for someone detailed. Healthcare data savvy. Experience or history in fully hands-on ETL pipeline end to end.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to oversee Data Engineers and solutions surrounding developing data pipelines, create interactive dashboards, and implement analytical solutions.

Azure, Python (or Airflow) and Snowflake are mandatory requirements. GCP minimal experience is ok.

Bachelor's Degree

Healthcare knowledge and/or experience

Client has a current reliance on GCP with a future move to Azure Cloud, and Python knowledge as essential

Although the job description mentions Azure Cloud, the company is currently on GCP, with a vision to eventually move to Azure Cloud. Confirmed that knowledge of Python is a must-have for the current process, noting that they plan to move away from FiveTran

Leading a warehouse development initiative, building the ETL pipeline end-to-end from scratch. This position reports to the Director of Data Engineering, and the team size is 30 people. emphasized the need for a candidate with attention to detail who is healthcare data savvy, or at least familiar with the domain

FULL DESCRIPTION

Proficiency in using data processing frameworks (e.g., snowpipe, fivetran), databases (e.g.

Snowflake, MSSQL) and GCP,Azure cloud.

· Experience with ETL tool such as SSIS, Talend, DataFlow, ADF or airflow required.

· Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus

· Snowflake, DBT and GIT experience required.

Strong Cloud experience, CI CD

Data Master, Data Management and strong data warehouse experience

ETL/ETL development background

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team

members.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively

across departments.

· Evaluate and implement data integration technologies and tools to ensure seamless data flow

and interoperability.

· Implement processes to monitor and improve data quality through regular data cleansing,

validation, and enrichment activities.

· Work closely with analytics teams to define data requirements and create a data quality

framework that supports advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization.

· Foster a data-driven culture by promoting the use of data insights to drive business decisions

and innovation.

· Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance, performance evaluations,

and professional development opportunities.

· Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge-sharing and

innovation.

· Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Reporting and Analysis tools, SQL, and visual analytic

applications.

· Implement best practices for data governance and ensure data security and compliance.

· Fluency in SQL, DBT , python and Snowflake scripting.
