Must be strong with Azure – prefer Certifications.

Strong with Infrastructure, Networks, zScaler, and Office 365

15% with AWS

• First round with (30 mins)

-Second Round with Networking team (2 members- 45 mins)

Must Haves:

Heavy Cisco 5+ years- specifically Virtual Networking background

Extensive MS Azure experience 5+ years- 85% azure/ 15% AWS

3+ years experience with zScaler

Nice to Have :

MS Azure Certs

Not afraid to work collaboratively with FTE on process improvements etc.

Cloud Engineer

Reporting to the Associate Director of IT, the Cloud Engineer will work with the IT and Development teams to maintain and modernize cloud and internal infrastructures. The ideal candidate is well versed in Microsoft Azure and O365, has a firm understanding of cloud based and emerging technologies. Their ability to apply their industry knowledge to environment will be crucial.

Position Requirements:

Education: Degree in Computer Science Preferred but Not Necessary

Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of direct work experience.

Other Skills: Knowledge or working skills in the following areas is preferred, but not required:

Designing and Deploying Cloud Systems:

Developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.

Ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies.

Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues

Automation and Efficiency:

Leveraging code to automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

Ensuring consistent and reproducible infrastructure across different environments.

Using version control for infrastructure configurations.

Collaboration and Improvement:

Collaborating with other teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.

Modifying and improving existing systems.

Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for enhancements.

Stake Holder Interaction and Support:

Interacting with Stakeholders, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.

Requirements and Skills

• • Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.

• • Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP are preferred.

• • Experience with Zscaler is a VERY nice to have, ideally a must.

• • Troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• • Client management skills for discussing systems as needed.
