Sr. Automation SDET who has worked in Enterprise Data Environments

Heavy Python

Design, build, and maintain Python‑based automation frameworks

Validate large‑scale datasets using DataFrames, NumPy, and SQL

This is a mid to senior, hands‑on SDET role focused on validating large‑scale, data‑driven integration systems. The engineer will own automated testing end‑to‑end, writing real Python code to analyze and validate complex data flows across dozens of interconnected platforms—most of which are upstream or downstream dependencies. The role requires strong programming skills, deep experience with large datasets (DataFrames, NumPy, SQL), and comfort taking full ownership through release and production support, including on‑call responsibilities. This is not a manual QA role; it's best suited for true SDETs who think like Data Scientists and enjoy working close to data and integrations.

Hours | Shift | On Call | Time Zone: EST hours 9-5; On‑call release support required (see below)

Duration: 6+ months expect to extend (pending workload, budget, performance)

Day to Day:

Own an automated testing workstream from requirements intake through release validation

Design, build, and maintain Python‑based automation frameworks

Validate large‑scale datasets using DataFrames, NumPy, and SQL

Perform pre‑code vs. post‑code data comparisons

Build data stability and accuracy test suites

Analyze complex data flows across dozens of integrated systems (many not internally owned)

Identify data issues, gaps, and anomalies within large datasets

Partner closely with integrated engineering and QA team members

Support production releases, including:

Regression testing

Pre‑release and post‑release validation

Enhancing test infrastructure
