Job Title: SOC Engineer

Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6–12+ Month Contract

Required skills

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven expertise in SIEM (Splunk, Elastic) and SOAR platforms.

Strong Python scripting for automation and workflow development.

Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Solid Linux system administration skills.

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Elastic Stack for search and analytics.

Familiarity with open-source SOC tools such as Wazuh , Teleport , and OpenCTI .

Ability to work independently in a remote setup and respond rapidly to security events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a cloud-native SOC environment (AWS/GCP).

• Background in threat hunting or incident response.

• Contributions to or usage of open-source cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
