SSPM / SaaS Security Engineer

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms (development and/or administration)

Experience implementing or managing security controls within SaaS environments

Strong programming experience with Python

Experience working with APIs and integrations

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Technical Skills

Python development and API integration

SaaS platform configuration, administration, and security

Testing concepts and tools (unit, integration, functional)

Experience with SaaS APIs and integration patterns

Knowledge of access control, security models, and data integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AppOmni or similar SSPM tools

• Strong security-focused mindset with hands-on experience

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (AWS preferred)

• Familiarity with GitHub , DevOps practices, and automation tools

• Experience with testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, Selenium

• Financial services or insurance industry experience is a plus
