About the role
Job Title: Windows Engineer
Location: Must work 2-3 days onsite at one of the client offices: Boston, NYC, Minneapolis, Detroit, MI, Seattle, San Francisco, Arlington, VA, Chicago, Irving, TX, Houston, TX, Atlanta, Miami, FL, Irvine or Los Angeles.
Project Overview: The project is to remediate vulnerabilities identified for windows desktop and servers.
Top skillsets needed:
They will focus on mitigating all security vulnerabilities across our Windows environments (including VDI OS & Servers), ensuring compliance with CIS hardening standards. These engineers require a strong understanding of:
Desktop Management & Security tools (Antivirus, SIEM, Qualys, WSUS, Nessus, etc.)
Windows Active Directory and the utilization of Group Policy Objects (GPO) for automation and policy enforcement
Windows configuration, patching, and best practices for both desktops and servers
CIS hardening standards
