Overview:

We are looking for a Window AD Lead to join our Information Technology Operations team and support our Client's Infrastructure Environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the on-premises management w/ O365, configuration, and security of Active Directory (AD) environments & supporting the Network , identity protection, and incident management for our Client's small (4) enterprise IT infrastructure . In addition, responsibilities include scheduling and performing service outages and responding to unforeseen problems. Scripting and project management skills are necessary. Should have a deep technical understanding of Windows operating systems up to and including Windows 10/11/Server 2019 .

Requirements

• Must have 5 yrs extensive knowledge of supporting and implementing Microsoft Active Directory Services including:

• Direct the installation of operating systems, network or application software, or computer or network hardware. (Plan/implement changes to client Active Directory services and troubleshoot issues as needed)

• Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.

• Establish functional or system standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed.

• Design and reconfigure virtualization hosts for storage, networking, and performance

• Configure Disaster Recovery software for local and replicated DR scenarios

• Troubleshoot issues regarding backup systems and DR systems

• Manage and maintain virtual machines using virtualization management platforms including VMware, and Microsoft

• Update settings and configuration for SANs as required

• Work with the IT Helpdesk to resolve outstanding client issues (Be a single point of escalation for tier 3 issues)

• Experience with leading a high-performance engineering team in a professional services environment

• Strong coaching skills. Able to provide constructive criticism in a positive manner.

• A self-starter who exudes positive energy and can rally those around them to a common goal.
