Role Description The Solution Design Sr Manager (Contract Logistics) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for designing end-to-end contract logistics solutions, including warehouse layout, material flow, resource planning, cost modeling and transportation models aligned with customer requirements and operational capabilities. The position involves analyzing client data, conducting feasibility studies, preparing business cases, and developing solution proposals with clear cost, service, and implementation plans. The Sr Manager will lead cross-functional solution design projects, collaborate with operations, IT, finance, and commercial teams, and support bid responses, RFQs, and new business implementations. The role also includes continuous improvement of existing solutions, monitoring performance against KPIs, and contributing to standard methodologies and design frameworks within the organization. Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, modeling, and interpretation to support solution design and business cases.Proficiency in solution architecture for contract logistics, including warehouse design, process engineering, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.Demonstrated project management capabilities to lead solution design initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.Solid knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution center operations.Experience with transportation management, network design, and carrier/route optimization in a logistics or 3PL environment.Relevant experience in contract logistics or 3PL operations; prior experience in solution design or pre-sales is highly beneficial.Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPM, PMP) are an advantage.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to internal teams and customers.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools; familiarity with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems is beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and make data-driven decisions.
