Application Penetration Tester

As a Penetration Tester, your role involves conducting penetration tests across various platforms including applications, network, mobile (Android & iOS), cloud, and APIs to identify vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for performing thorough security assessments of critical systems, networks, and applications to detect advanced threats and potential security weaknesses. Utilizing penetration testing tools and frameworks like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, NMAP, and other open-source or custom tools for testing is a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to develop custom exploit code and scripts to exploit vulnerabilities, demonstrating security risks to stakeholders. Providing detailed reports on findings, including an analysis of vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and recommended remediation strategies is crucial. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and follow best practices to mitigate identified risks is also part of your role. You will be expected to conduct advanced penetration testing methodologies, including red teaming, black-box testing, and advanced exploitation techniques.
