You will be responsible for maintaining the stability and performance of the current legacy environments while also architecting, migrating, and managing the future-state database infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Core Database Management (Current State) - Administration: Perform day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Oracle 12c, 19c, and 21c environments. - Performance Tuning: Proactively identify bottlenecks using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports. Optimize complex SQL queries and memory structures. - High Availability: Manage and maintain Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate for real-time replication and disaster recovery. - Security Patching: Execute quarterly RU/PSU patching and ensure compliance with security standards (encryption, auditing, and user access control). - Exadata: Strong expertise in managing Oracle databases on Oracle Exadata, including deployment, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management. - Strategic Transition (Future State) - Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of on-premises databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS (RDS/EC2), or Azure. - Modernization: Implement and manage Autonomous Databases (ADW/ATP) and Exadata Cloud Service. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform or Ansible to automate database provisioning and configuration management. - Architecture Design: Assist in designing scalable, multi-tenant architectures aligning with customer's digital transformation goals. - Managed Services Excellence - SLA Management: Ensure all database services meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Customer Advisory: Translate technical database concepts into business value for stakeholders. - Incident Management: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical production outages.
