Senior Engineering Head

As a senior-most engineering leader in our company, you will have the exciting opportunity to own and build the entire technology ecosystem from scratch. This role requires a hands-on approach with strong product thinking to make foundational technology decisions and scale systems globally. Key Responsibilities: - End-to-End Product Ownership: - Architect and build a platform from scratch - Own complete system design across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure - Translate business vision into scalable technical solutions - Platform Development: - Build scalable systems such as: a. Marketplace / discovery platform b. Portfolio & asset management systems c. CRM and client experience platforms d. Transaction, payment, and logistics workflows - Architecture & Scalability: - Define robust, scalable, and secure architecture - Build for global performance, reliability, and scale - Establish engineering best practices and standards - Team Building: - Hire and scale the engineering team - Set culture, processes, and technical direction - Mentor engineers and drive high-performance execution - Strategic Leadership: - Work closely with founders and stakeholders - Drive product and technology roadmap - Bring strong opinions on product, UX, and innovation Required Skills & Experience: Must-Have: - 10+ years of experience in building and scaling software products - Proven experience in end-to-end product development (0-1 or early-stage) - Strong expertise across full stack development (frontend + backend) - Deep understanding of system design & architecture, APIs and distributed systems, and databases (relational and non-relational) - Cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices Tech Stack (Flexible): - Open to any modern technology stack - Ability to choose, justify, and evolve the right tech stack based on product needs - Strong fundamentals over specific languages/frameworks Preferred: - Experience building marketplaces/platforms, scalable consumer or SaaS products, startup or founding engineer experience, exposure to data-driven systems/personalization/AI What We're Looking For: - Strong builder mindset (hands-on coder + architect) - High ownership and accountability - Ability to operate in ambiguity and fast-paced environments - Strong product sense and attention to user experience Join us to build a category-defining global platform from scratch, work directly with founders on core strategy, have high ownership, autonomy, and impact, and shape technology, team, and product from day one.
